Two skills from the list where I feel confident are people management and creativity. I am confident in people management because I love jobs involving customer service and throroughly enjoyed our partner projects. It is an amazing feeling working with adults and other individuals who respect me, allowing for great team work and productivity. I am also confident in my creativity skills because I go about all my projects and day to day tasks in a unique way, trying to find ways to improve and make them more fun. I love Arts and crafts, but I also love the passion projects we have been conducting. They allow me to go about my work in a manner that is exciting and unique to my interests and passions.
Two skills from the list where there is room for improvement are emotional intelligence and negotiation. The reason I struggle with emotional intelligence is because I am an emotion driven person, sometimes causing my emotions to cloud my judgment. One thing I that I will try to do to improve in this area is to try and think more logically instead of jumping to conclusions and letting my emotions take control. Another area I struggle in is negotiation because I often just take someone’s offer even if I don’t particularly like it. This in main part is because I’m afraid to negotiate with others and make him/her upset. I could fix this issue to look to my parents for help and just practice negotiating.
